In order to preserve one of the oldest buildings in the western world, the Ancient Spanish Monastery, which is a non-profit organization, held its second annual showcase for one night only, which took place last Thursday, September 8.

Music was heard in a beautiful space, and the attendees had the opportunity to buy something to eat and drink, including delicious liqueurs.

Last year, the evening featured a cellist, a Spanish guitarist, and a violinist performing solos and throughout the building, community artists exhibited their most prized works of art and even put them up for sale.

The Monastery is located in North Miami Beach and is home to St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, a growing congregation in the Episcopal Diocese of South Florida. It has beautiful and historic halls, making it popular and memorable for visits, weddings, and photo sessions with great medieval style.

The cost of the admission costs $12, and proceeds will go towards helping the Old Spanish Monastery Foundation. Visit their website by clicking here!
