When we think about our favorite songs, the first thing that comes to mind is the good times we spent with those melodies. There are moments, people, and feelings that cannot always be tangible.
That is why, when a celebrity creates a physical environment such as a club or a restaurant, we all want to be the first ones there because we can begin to feel the musical experience with other senses. These places make us feel close to our music idols, and we can see a little of their tastes and way of seeing the world through the experiences created in these places.
Bad Bunny makes it to the gastronomic world
The taste of Bad Bunny will not only come to your ears with his music, but his taste will now be on your palate with the new opening of Gekko, alongside the partnership with David Grutman. A restaurant in Brickell full of luxury, detail, and Asian flavor.
The restaurant has a Japanese touch that combines a steakhouse with the flavor of the Eastern Continent, creating an explosion of experiences that fill the senses. From the appetizers, including Japanese milk bread, to the main plates made by Groot Hospitality, delicious high-end food.
In addition, for meats, you can enjoy cuts like Tomahawk, filet mignon with olives from Japan, wagyu skirt steak, and bone chop. Everything on the menu, including the creamy and spicy lobster, plant-based chicken, and more, is a must-try.
The restaurant can accommodate up to 185 guests in the indoor-outdoor space. Like most Groot Hospitality venues, Rockwell Group designed this space with vibrant décor in jewel tones, a custom installation of gold and red dyed strings, graphic wall coverings, velvet curtains, and backlit bars to enhance the nightlife.
The Launch
We saw all kinds of celebrities at the launch, such as David Beckham, Karol G, Jhay Cortez, and Bad Bunny, who by themselves attract many people. From the marketing point of view, it is an excellent opportunity for the opening of this restaurant not to be just a moment but for it to last and evolve into a place you can not miss in Miami.
With the opportunity to be close to celebrities or post something on social media, people will do just about anything, leading to reservations quickly filling up.
Gekko is open to the public on 8 SE 8th Street in Brickell and is open Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 pm to 11 pm, and Friday and Saturdays from 6 pm to 12 am.
